Hi there! I’m Pam Brimberry and I want you to know a little more about me…I have a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin and I have been helping people with diabetes, weight loss, high cholesterol, food allergies, hormone issues and much more for over 20 years. I live just outside of Austin, Texas; I am married; and have 2 fabulous (very busy) children. Some of my hobbies include: photography, tennis, wedding planning and fundraising AND I also serve on the board of a local charity.
Not only do I understand nutrition but I also empathize with the hopelessness that can be associated with trying to lose weight. I have struggled with a litany of health issues my entire life but they began to spiral out of control during the pregnancy of my second child when I was 28 years old. Based on my knowledge of hypothyroidism, I believed I had all the symptoms but every doctor I went to told me my blood work was normal and some of them were even adamant that all I needed was an anti-depressant. After 8 more years of health issues, doctor visits, and 65lbs of weight gain I finally got treated for hypothyroidism, recurring ovarian cysts, pre-ovulation failure, gluten sensitivity, and other significant food allergies.
Although I feel healthier than I have ever felt in my entire life, it wasn’t easy getting here. I have worked hard and lost 65lbs and I have given up gluten, dairy, and eggs not because I wanted to but because my body can’t tolerate them. Because of my personal challenges, I have a passion to help people overcome obstacles and accomplish their health goals through an effective system of coaching that I have developed over the years that not only works but also inspires. I’m not solely interested in helping people attain their short term goals (like every quick-fix weight-loss program out there), but I am also committed to helping people learn to continually set health goals for the rest of their lives and to educate them on how to develop and execute a plan that will empower them to accomplish all that is in their heart to do.
